2009 Summer Camp

to benefit USATaekwondo families

 

FOR WHOM: all TaeKwonDo practiotioners, their families and friends who understand or are willing to learn about TaeKwonDo and Korean culture.

WHEN: July 3 - 13, 2009

WHERE: Jeonju & Muju TaeKwondo and Culture Expo 7/10/09-7/10/09; Seoul 7/10 – 13/09

FEE: $2,300 includes:

1.   All transportations including airfare, 1st Class Tour bus, airport pick-up and drop off.

2.   Participation in all Expo Events, Guided Tours, Friendship and/or Elite TKD Championships, Martial Arts/ Aerobic TKD Seminars.  Watch 1st Class shows & demonstrations, experience ancient to modern Korean culture, visit mountains, temples, the West Sea, and the TKD Park site.  Meet and exchange knowledge with TKD families from over 50 countries around world and more.

3.   Nutritional meals (Seoul-Western Breakfast), Room (Jeonju – air conditioned college dorm, Muju-resort condo, Seoul: 5 to 6- star hotel.

4.   At Seoul, special shows may be watched, visit palace and many tourist attractions, including Kukkiwon, work famous TKD university and more.

School Family Championship, Saturday, November 15, 2008:

·         Located at Eagle Tae Kwon Do Academy - No travel or lodging expenses!

·         "School Family" means only our students and only our referees/judges.

·         Three Events (forms, sparring, breaking) for one low price.

·         Every participant receives Olympic-style gold, silver or bronze medal.

·         We have added more classes from which to choose.

September 5, 2008 Announcement:

·      Grandmaster H.K. Lee asked us to change the date of the December Belt Promotion Exam from December 6 to December 13.

·    We will also make December 13 the date for our next Black Belt exam.

USA Haedong Kumdo (USAHK) Black Belt Exams and Seminar

The USAHK under Grandmaster Moon Kap Kim brought United World Haedong Kumdo Grandmaster Jeong Seong Kim from Puson, Korea to conduct a Haedong Kumdo special Ssamg Kum (two-swords) training for USAHK master instructors on Friday and Sunday; as well as a Saturday black belt exam; sword martial art demonstrations; and a color belt special training that included cutting plastic ‘bamboo’, newspaper and vegetables.

Eagle TaeKwonDo Academy Headmaster Grady, USAHK N.C. State Education Director, was among about 18 USAHK master instructors who attended the two days of special training for masters and conducted Saturday’s black belt exam and color belt special training.

USA Haedong Kumdo (USAHK) Opening Ceremony and Seminar

The USAHK under its President, Grandmaster Moon Kap Kim brought United World Haedong Kumdo President, Grandmaster Jeong Seong Kim from Puson, Korea; to conduct a Haedong Kumdo special training in Ssang Kum (two-swords) and cutting plastic ‘bamboo’ for USAHK master instructors on Friday and Sunday; as well as the Saturday Opening Ceremony of USAHK that included sword martial art demonstrations; and a color belt special training that included cutting straw mats, newspaper and vegetables.

Eagle TaeKwonDo Academy Headmaster Grady, USAHK N.C. State Education Director, was among about 15 USAHK master instructors who attended the two days of special training for masters and conducted Saturday’s color belt special training.
